Distance scheme and rules

Please let me present to your attention a general scheme of competition distance. Let's follow one of the 6 canoes. Graduated start positions will make the distance equal for all the participants like in stadium running competitions. From the start the canoe goes to the float where it takes the shooting position according to the number of it's water. The athlete puts his paddle, takes the archery and shoots 5 shots at 5 targets. The targets are 18 sm in diameter; the shooting distance is 18 meters long. If the arrow hits the target the target falls down. If the participant missed 5 targets he leaves the distance for "comforting start", if he has hit one target or more - than he goes on with the competition. His canoe goes to the red mark after which it starts turning around the yellow mark with a figure corresponding to the number of missed targets on it - for instance, if the sportsman hasn't missed any targets he turnes around the yellow mark number "0" and so on from "0" to "4". The distance between the yellow marks is 20 meters. After turning around this "penalty turn" the canoe goes to the exit red mark and further along the lap again to it's shooting position for the second round of archery with the same conditions. Then it goes for the second "penalty turn" and the last lap comes to the finish line. The fist participant to reach the finish becomes the winner.
Danger zone – this is a peace of the distance 90 m long where the rules do not apply. Danger zone can be avoided when passed by on the left side.
